Composite Body

Ok I know i is not pumkin oragne but I have grown to like FORD Tractor Blue

Here it the talegate section in progress.  I am glueing the 1x2 and 1x4 sections together to form the frame.  Once the france is built  I will strech polyester fabric over it tightly.  Then I will apply fiberglass mate and resien to both sides and to reinforce the wood joints.  Covering the fiberglass will be anouther layer of polyester that can be sanded smooth.    I will use wood and or metal in places for added strenght.  The seats will be mounted to the roll cage which will me attached to the frame.

This will be the "Hat Channel" under the Fiber glass floor reinforced with ply wood or may be metal.
